About George
With over 12 years of experience, I’m here to guide you on your unique singing journey.
I have guided many beginner students through successful auditions, led choirs who have never sung before and musical directed at the Theatre Royal, Nottingham.
I've discovered a passion for helping beginners grow their confidence and unlock their singing potential with a solid foundation of technique in a creative, fun and supportive environment. I believe too many singers get held back by self-doubt, and that’s where I come in. Together, we’ll tackle those confidence barriers and replace them with the tools and techniques that will help you sing with freedom and joy.

I specialise in beginner and intermediate singers.
I always begin by asking what you want to achieve (whether it's an audition, to build confidence, to work on your technique, train for a singing exam etc...) and tailor your sessions towards that.
A lesson always begin with a warm-up: I will introduce you to vocal exercises to help with your aim, and then we move into the specific song or challenge you are working on. If you are a beginner, you may wish to begin auditions so we will look at building your confidence and skills through expanding your repertoire of songs and introducing you to music theory ; using these to explore different vocal techniques. If you are an intermediate, this typically involves revising pieces for exams, working on up-coming auditions and looking into what we need to do to take you to an advanced level, whether it's through your singing placement or theory knowledge.
Overall, I have found that no two lessons are the same because no two students are the same:
