About Jac

After obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Communication from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, I had been a teacher in a high school (aka high school in Canada) for over 20 years. In between, I got a Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Second Language. Therefore, I understand well the difficulties of learning English as a second-language learner.

About the lesson

There is no fixed teaching methodology for students learning a language, especially in private tuition. Being an experienced teacher, sticking to the student's needs is the best methodology. A typical lesson includes revising what has been learnt in the last lesson, the main content of the current lesson, and its application.

Experienced teacher with over 20 years of experience in ESL up to the high school level.
