About Sanne
I have a first-degree teaching qualification and have been teaching Dutch in secondary education for eight years. I have experience with all school levels in the lower and upper years. In recent years I have mainly taught in the upper classes, with the majority of my students coming from exam classes.

Few students find Dutch fun or useful. You speak Dutch daily, isn't that enough? Yet there are always things that could be even better. But as long as you are not told why something can be improved and how you should approach it, it will be difficult. I find it very important not only to teach you skills, but also to show you in which situations which skills are important and why. When you understand that, you get the most out of your abilities. I'm going to help you see links between different things, which makes learning easier, and I'll help you to be critical of the things you encounter. We also look beyond the walls of the school and the Dutch course together, because only then will you see why all those skills are so important.
