I am an experienced teacher with a strong background in teaching and tutoring maths and science. I tutor because I want every student to feel capable, confident, and supported. My aim is to help students understand these subjects clearly, approach exams with confidence, and achieve the very best they are capable of, showing that anyone can succeed with the right guidance and structure.

My maths and science tutoring focuses on exam success first. Lessons break down what exam questions are really asking, how marks are awarded, and how to structure answers effectively. Teaching is built around the exam questions themselves, with concepts explained in the exact context they appear in assessments. Methods, calculations, and explanations are modelled step by step, then practised through targeted exam-style questions so students understand not just what to do, but why it works.
