About Ruchi

Hi! My name is Ruchi Gupta, and I am a recent graduate of Rice University with a degree in Chemistry with Distinction in Research and Creative Works. I am also an incoming MD/PhD student at the Yale School of Medicine. I love working with students and helping others go to the college or medical school of their dreams! I’m interested in offering tutoring and application review services for the following:

Medical school and college applications

SAT/ACT Tutoring

High school and introductory college level math, science, and English courses

I have extensive tutoring experience as the head tutor of my residential college, I have reviewed over 20 college and medical school applications, and I also have substantial writing experience as the Editor-in-Chief of Rice’s undergraduate science journal. I've been tutoring throughout college! I was elected to be a Peer Academic Fellow at Rice University based on my GPA, where I helped others at my residential college with their chemistry coursework and was elected to the Head Tutor position during my senior year. I've also helped other Rice students with their applications to medical and business schools, including personal statement, activities list, and secondary application essay reviews.

I graduated with a B.A. in Chemistry with Distinction in Research and Creative Works and I am an incoming MD/PhD student at Yale School of Medicine.
