About Lucas
I have a passion for teaching and love helping others reach their academic goals. I am a physical therapy student who has received an 'A' in graduate level anatomy, neuroscience/neuroanatomy, and biomechanics courses. These are all difficult courses that many students need help with and I can offer that service. I can help whether you are in high school, completing your undergraduate degree, or currently in graduate school!
I have worked as a Graduate Assistant for Biomechanics in PT school as well as an undergraduate teaching assistant for Anatomy and Physiology labs at UNLV. I am heavily involved with biomechanical research using motion capture software and have one published paper.

I love seeing the 'lightbulb' light up when a difficult topic finally clicks. It is a very rewarding experience and I love that I can help create lifelong learners that have a renewed passion for learning.
I found out during undergrad that I had a knack for quickly understanding complex topics and being able to break them down into simple parts. I loved helping classmates master the material we were learning and succeed. This is what gave me my first opportunity to work as an undergraduate teaching assistant in the A&P labs at UNLV. Since then, I have been trying to find ways to help as many people as I can by teaching.

My process is to first understand the student's goals from tutoring and determining if they are something I am well suited to address. I am here to help others learn and succeed in future courses with the strategies I give them. If I do not believe I can help a potential student, I will recommend they find another tutor that will be better suited for their needs.
