About Carlos

I have been coaching kids (8-18 years old) for the last 4 years, helping them to develop as players by teaching them the right mechanics and attitude for the sport. I have been tracking the progress of all these players, helping them get into high school, and more recently one into college.

I played at the collegiate and professional levels. It is said that not everyone who plays can teach, however, I believe the most important skill I have is teaching with patience.

I love figuring out a way to teach each kid specifically by finding the language they understand while breaking down the skills I am trying to teach them in a slow and comprehensive manner.

My main purpose is to foster a love for the game while learning the skills. I am able to teach and connect with young kids that do not have any experience and also kids who have played for years.

A

Amber

Carlos is very patient, and works to build a positive rapport and relationship with each athlete he works with. He gives constructive feedback in a positive encouraging way while coaching at a very high level. He is able to customize a lesson tailored toward the needs of the individual he is working with, where any level of athlete is able to quickly improve. He is unique in that he truly loves baseball, and is committed to pass that love on to his athletes. Carlos focuses not winning, but the correct execution of mechanics so the athlete does not get hurt. Carlos is not only a phenomenal coach, but also a positive mentor for the child.
