About William

I am an attentive and patient young professional aspiring to improve and solidify the next generation's understanding and confidence in various academic subjects.

I work in emergency management, specifically in Risk Analysis. I love working with the community, solving problems, and bringing value and comprehension to improve community resiliency and preparedness.

Throughout my professional career, I do a lot of training and presenting. Educating and presenting to others is a natural skill that I practice weekly. So I decided to monetize these skills and expand my network to bring success to others.

Throughout my academic career, I worked in hospitality as a side job, in addition to several volunteer activities, including pre-hospital care, music, and first response. Furthermore, I have an advanced degree. In addition, my background of academic prestige and passion for public service dovetails with my enthusiasm, communication, and professionalism.

About the lesson

When beginning with a new student, the first few sessions focus on learning needs, style(s), and capacity. Once we establish expectations and a foundation of ability, I cultivate a personalized education plan to elevate innate skills and interests.

I have worked with all types of students, from Pre-K to the university level, and have experience with twice-exceptional students.

Always be transparent and practice humility. As someone who has been both a tutor and tutee, not knowing how to study or not understanding a subject gives everyone room to grow.

I recently became engaged to my long-term girlfriend, also a teacher. Taking the next step in life together is both exciting and energizing! Not to mention we both adopted a lab pitbull mix whom we named after Star Wars.
