About Ben

Getting trained by a player who has played at some of the highest levels of basketball. I played at Virginia Tech and SMU. Played in 3 countries (Poland, Russia, and France). I'm young and able to relate to players and get them to buy in mentally.

I enjoy helping young players improve and reach their goals. It reminds me of when I was their age looking to get an edge in any way. Mentoring them on mistakes I made and opportunities I missed so they will have a better chance than me.

I started with the DFW D1 Basketball Academy in 2015. I also work with Tx Dynasty.

I've studied biomechanics at SMU in Dallas, Tx. which has helped my understanding of how muscles work, what muscles move what, and how to increase those muscular functions.

About the lesson

1. Evaluate the players skill level.

2. Determine style of play

3. Position

4. Player goals and ambitions

All ages of basketball players and all skill levels.

Check their credentials, If they haven't done it themselves usually they can't get you there either.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
How far they want to go in basketball?

What type of training do they want? (intensity level)

Will this trainer help me reach my goals?

Excellent! Gu provided good training in basic skills, but the training was stopped short of completion because of an offer he received to play basketball in France. As a result my grandson did not receive the complete promised set of lessons and training in the skills we hoped to receive. We have been promised a refund of the money not earned for his failing to provide the full 10 lessons purchased.

I prefer multi-player training because of competitiveness and the availibility to simulate game situations. Tell friends and teammates about training to help create groups.

Training held at SMU Crum Basketball Center or we discuss a different location.
