About Audrey

(concealed information)

I started teaching after a long layoff from coaching. I've watched many games in which it was clear young players were not getting trained on the fundamentals of basketball. I truly loved the game but didn't want to coaching. I was disappointed in the direction the game was going. I knew I could have a big impact in the development of our young players.

The education and training I've acquired comes from playing basketball since the 2nd grade, playing throughout the Bay Area, Merritt College and Oregon State University. I've learned from some of the best coaches. As well as watched the game on all levels.

About the lesson

I typically like to know get to know the student, what level of basketball the student is at, and what are the goals of the student.

I've worked with elementary, middle school and high school students. Some of the players had never played basketball before and there were some players who had a great deal of experience.

I would advise young students to do their research and to include their parents in the process.

N/A

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
1. Students should ask themselves, What are my goals?

2. Students should ask themselves how committed am I to putting in the time to improve as a player?

3. What is the teacher's level of experience?

Perfect! I get a lot out of every practice. We work on every aspect of the game and Ms. Audrey is very supportive of me. She has even attended a couple of my games to see what I need to improve and her feedback is really helpful. I am impressed by her experience and dedication. I highly recommend her and plan to continue my training with her for the foreseeable future.

Perfect! My daughter has been working with Coach Audrey for about 3 weeks now and has already shown significant improvement in her confidence and skill level. Coach is very skilled in her craft and stresses the importance of fundamentals. Coach Audrey is very good at finding activities that build strength where it is needed the most. She also teaches my daughter how and when to use her natural strengths to her advantage on the court. We plan on keeping her around indefinitely!!!

Audrey is the perfect combination of encouraging, challenging, and patient. She has been training our 7-year old son for a little over a month now and does a great job of keeping him engaged while he's developing his skills. Our son looks forward to each lesson and his basketball skills have improved significantly. We definitely recommend Audrey for families with school aged kids - she is a skilled coach and makes learning fun!
