About Chris

I have been involved with the game of basketball my whole life. Recently just completed my 15th year of coaching at the collegiate level. Coached at every single level from junior college, division 3, division 2 and division 1. Most recent spot was at Portland State University. Just moved to San Diego and currently pursuing some other professional opportunities. Love to keep in teaching the game of basketball to the youth and see consistent improvements in young players!

I love teaching young players and the attention to detail and seeing them consistently grow! Seeing that progress with young players is very rewarding to me.

I started in college coaching as a manager in college and just kept working in the business from there. Have worked and ran numerous basketball camps with skills training along with the 100's of hours with our college athletes at all my jobs.

Have been coaching at the collegiate for 15 years:

2 years in Division 3

2 years in Divison 2

4 years in Junior College

7 years in Division 1

About the lesson

Very basic basketball skills from ball handling, finishing, shooting, passing and really just overall ball skills.

Have worked and trained college athletes throughout my 15 years being a college coach. Have also ran and worked many youth camps as well.

My biggest piece of advice for a student looking to hire a teacher is making sure they have the experience. There is no substitue from learning from someone who has countless hours of teaching into the craft you are looking to get into.

Love to work kids out in groups and I think $25/session which can last anywhere from 1:10-1:20 is a very good rate with what some people are charging these days.
