I have been teaching boxing and martial arts since 2016, starting in Bellingham WA coaching the Western Washington University Boxing team. In 2018 I began to teach boxing at Pure Fitness Martial Arts in Bellingham WA, with students ranging from the age of 6 to 60 years old. Along side formal classes, I have also volunteered at elementary schools teaching martial arts in after school club classes, including disabled children in those classes, with the aim of teaching emotional intelligence.
I believe that the mental and physical skills and discipline learned from martial arts can be applied throughout all areas of life. I have seen boxing transform the lives of students.
