About Tingting
I started off as an English teacher, until my Foreign friends came to me for learning Chinese. I found my passion in it and was teaching Chinese eversince.
I have double majored in Chinese Han language literature and English. I also have received the Certificate for Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Language，CTCSOL.

I will start by evaluating the student's level thrugh a conversation, and design a teaching plan according to their specific needs.
All levels. From elementary, Highschool students, to University leveled adults (Especially HSK students).
Don't expect more than 20% of English communication during my class, for it cultivates dependence on explanation in the language you are more familiar with.
Students who took interest in the written Chinese characters recieves remarkable progress comparing to other types of students.

I am a very demanding teacher. I prefer teaching students with specific learning goals. I expect my students to like Chinese characters.

I love how creative and interactive her lessons are! never a dull second I have when I'm in her lessons. also she includes a lot of current events into the contents that we learn, which really enriches the lesson and gave me a closer look at the culture and what China is like now.
