About Mandy

First of all, By being a Native-Born speaker, I have a level of fluency and knowledge of the culture that can only be obtained by growing up in China. I can give unique insights into the culture and teach authentic Chinese that is spoken on the mainland.

Secondly, I have always had a passion for working with children. I believe that by working with children at an early age, you can have a greater impact on their language learning. Children are natural sponges that will grow with proper guidance.

Thirdly, a great example of my natural teaching ability is teaching my nephew-in-law who is a natural-born American citizen. Through my daily lessons and guidance, he is quickly learning Mandarin. Our family members and friends are truly amazed by the amount of Chinese he can speak at only age 3!

In general, I am devoted to teaching kids between the ages of 3 to 6. I have a passion for helping children and help guide them to reach their max potential from an early age. Seeing children grow to their potential and be successful is something I truly enjoy.

I truly enjoy being able to share both my native language and culture with people. I love interacting with kids and being able to teach them a new language and skill. I naturally get along with kids with my patience, understanding, and natural enthusiasm. I believe that I can have a great and positive impact on my student’s life. By guiding them at a young age, I am setting them up for future success in life.

About the lesson

I normally will do some warm-up and get to know her/him first. Asking what do they like to do and interest them. Since I am devoted to teaching kids between age 3 to age 6, so I would also talk to their parents to clarify the purpose of the learning and my goal of teaching.
