As a member of the prestigious President's Own Marine Band and principal clarinet player of the Long Beach Symphony Orchestra and with over a decade of teaching experience at respected institutions like the Los Angeles Philharmonic - Youth Orchestra Los Angeles and Colburn School of Music, I offer a unique blend of expertise and dedication. My students consistently excel in competitions both nationally and internationally, showcasing the effectiveness of my teaching methods. I was fortunate to have outstanding music teachers who deeply influenced my life, as well as the lives of my friends and communities. Witnessing the profound impact of music education, I knew from an early age that I wanted to follow in their footsteps. Both as a student and a teacher, I've experienced firsthand the transformative power of music. It's not just about individual growth but also about enriching the communities we serve. This realization fueled my passion for teaching, and I've been committed to empowering students through music ever since.
I have had the privilege of studying and collaborating with world-renowned teachers and musicians, which has been invaluable in shaping my approach to teaching.
