About Van
Hello! I'm an incoming freshman at Texas A&M University in the fall, studying Engineering with intentions to specialize in Computer Science. I've been coding since I was young, from making games in Scratch, doing to a summer course to learn Python, all the way to developing applications in Java and C++ utilizing advanced data structures designed to enhance efficiency. I've long provided assistance in online communities, helping AP Computer Science A students through their assignments and through the logic necessary to complete them. Code comes somewhat naturally to me, and I see a beauty in each problem and the multitude of creative approaches that can be used to solve each one. It's for this reason that I'd love to pursue tutoring so that I can help burgeoning young programmers to find the love for code that I found.
