About Stephanie

Hi! I’m Stephanie Jones and I am a certified Zumba Kid’s Instructor and my goal is to create a loving, playful and judgement free place for your kids and mine to embrace their love of dance through Zumba.

Here's a little bit about me

I am living my dream to dance Zumba and teach kids so that I can encourage them to embrace their love of dance, learn dance moves from around the world, focus on fitness, and learn all the fun ways they can move their body without fear and judgment. I think there is a lot of judgement that comes with dance... boys get teased and girls think they must be a certain size. Those judgments kill the joy. Believe me, I know! I have loved to dance since I was a little girl! However, I pushed my passion for dance aside thinking I would never be good enough or that I would never have the perfect dancer’s body. I built a wall that kept me from doing something I really loved. I know so many of you can relate. Let's not let that happen to our kids!

With Zumba, I am breaking down that wall. I promised my daughter, who absolutely LOVES Zumba, that I would become a Kid's Zumba Instructor. This way I can introduce Zumba to other little kids and get her involved. There aren't many Zumba classes for kids near us and what an awesome way to connect with my daughter and to continue together on our health and fitness goals as a family, while sharing the spirit of fitness, dance and loving yourself no matter what your size. Come one, come all. All shapes and sizes are welcome. Just bring your passion to play and share a love of dance with kids just like yours. Whether you're here for fitness, fun, weight loss, or just because you love to dance, I can't wait to meet you and your kiddo(s)!
