Welcome to Kindred Dance & Events. My name is Kayla Sloan, and I am passionate about bringing custom wedding dances, social connection and creative events to the Kansas City area.

About the lesson

Dance lessons offered by Kayla are tailored to each student's needs and level. Lessons can also be held online. Lessons are also available in Kansas City. The first lesson is free to define learning goals and methodology.

Perfect! Kayla is a warm, friendly person who helps give a student confidence, she is patient with mistakes and gives clear instructions on how to improve on a step or move. I've only had a few lessons but feel I have gained a lot.

I’ve been taking lessons with Kayla and it’s been such a great experience! I started with bachata and now I’m moving into salsa, and she makes the learning process so easy to follow. She explains everything clearly, is very polite, and has a great way of pointing out mistakes while giving helpful tips to improve. I also really appreciate how encouraging and patient she is. Definitely recommend her if you’re looking to learn and have fun at the same time!
