About Effie

I am a professional dancer with over 10 years of experience. I started dancing in Prague, The Czech Republic and moved to Los Angeles to expand my dance career. I am proficient in many dance styles, focusing mainly on Salsa, Latin Styles, Hip Hop and Poppin. My accomplishments include working with names such as Ariana grande, Meghan Trainor, Justin Bieber, Steve Aoki, major brands such as Google, MAC, Tarte and BH Cosmetics, tour with Latin artist Raymix, Las Vegas Bellagio yearly shows, I got to be a part of creating for So You Think You Can Dance. Most recently I got to work as a dancer in the newest Fast And Furious 9.

I love that I can share my passion with dancers and non-dancers as well. There is always so much room for growth and I enjoy sharing my knowledge with others.

I started teaching at the age of 15. I tought in Czech-Brazilian group in Prague and then moved to LA where I teach and perform currently.

I studied dance in Prague, Czech Republic with accomplished choreographers from Brazil, US and other parts of the world. When I moved to Los Angeles I got to educate myself at the most prestige studios in the world. Then I started getting opportunities to work with these choreographers and build my resume.

About the lesson

I have a talk with the new student to find out what his/hee experience is with the specific dance style and see what they want to achieve in that direction. If they are non-dancers I try to associate the steps and movement with something they do in their every day life.

I have worked with all levels and all ages. I am always able to adapt and adjust to whatever my students need.

Make sure you know who you are hiring. You want to know what kind of experience the teacher has. Do your research, it is very easy especially with social media.

My most recent event was assisting on Justin Bieber's world tour. I was an assitant choreographer to his latin breakdown.

For online Zoom classes I charge $50 per hour.

For in person classes I charge $80 per hour.
