About Tybaldt
Partner dancing, and helping people understand and enjoy it, is my passion.
West Coast Swing, Hustle, Zouk, Argentine Tango, Carolina Shag, Lindy Hop, Salsa, Bachata... I love the social dances, and you will too.
I’ve been a competitive champion, a traveling performer, a judge, but teaching is my favorite, and I’ve been doing it since the late 90’s
I mostly teach in lower midtown Manhattan, Nutley, NJ and central Jersey
I’ve studied with many masters in most of the dances I teach, and continue to do so. I am a champion in West Coast Swing and Hustle, and in the Hustle Hall of Fame. I continue to perform, compete, take classes, and social dance.
My degree is in Ethnomusicology, for which I studied and performed West African and Afro Carribean music and dance.
