About Star

We are dance company that services young girls who share a desire and passion to dance! Offering an array of styles, our focus is building awareness, strength, and self esteem from the inside out thru the arts of movement. Our goal is to use our platform to reach and teach as many young women how to better listen to, respond to, and take care of their bodies; themselves.

Being a dancer myself for the past 20 years, I'd say what I enjoy most about teaching dance is the progress each of my students make! I love to see them blossom individually and collectively into the dancer/ person they have worked so hard towards. The feeling is undeniably most rewarding!

I have been an active dancer sine the age of 7, and have gone on to dance through college as a class renowned Black Fox for Prairie View A&M University! Since my majorette days I have taught children and adult classes in many styles, from jazz, hip hop, contemporary, and much more!

About the lesson

Most importantly, I believe developing a relationship with the student is most important. Getting to know what is most important and interesting to them to help ensure a better success for the student in and outside of class!
