About Kellie

“Walk in, Dance out!” is our motto and we’re here to make that happen! We specialize in Ballroom and Latin dancing as well as dance for fitness goals and wedding dance lessons. Our studio’s philosophy is based off of Mr. Fred Astaire himself, who believed that all good dancers are trained or taught. Anyone can dance, no matter your age or skill level, with or without a partner, and we are here make it happen!

Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Willoughby is proud to offer the best quality of dance instruction in:

* Wedding Dance Lessons

* Popular Social and Nightclub dance favorites such as Salsa, Merengue, Hustle, and Swing

* Ballroom Dancing Lessons such as the Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, and more!

* Latin-American Dance Lessons like Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba, Paso Doble, and Jive

All dance lessons are taught by our Certified Dance Instructors who undergo rigorous and continuous dance training. Our staff is focused on providing you with a exciting, pleasant, and informative experience as you gain the skills, confidence and charm that dance brings to your life.

Couples and single students are always welcome!

We help people find a greater sense of pride in their accomplishments by walking into our Willoughby dance studio a novice, but leave taking the first step to a healthier and happier life!

Each of our intrustors are certified trainers in the Fred Astaire curriculum and take exams regularly in steps, technique , and expression.

About the lesson

We are private lesson based studio and coordinate our dance lessons to your schedule. We also offer dance fitness classes such as LaBlast that is Ballroom movements used to make you sweat and get in a good workout! You can come in with a partner, OR we can partner you with one of our instructors. We will introduce you to all sorts of dance styles that will get you on your way to dancing in any setting to any style of music. We demystify how to move. But if you already know what style you would like to learn, that's ok too!
