About Thomas

I have been a professional musician for more than 30 years and played drums for a living for 25 of those years.

I teach basic reading and rudimentary skills to get started and build a solid base to advance from.

I also teach advanced sight reading and share my studio and live playing tips and tricks.

I am a Musicians Institut graduate and you can hear my playing on songs with The Messies, Tarzanaland, Mot & Krid and more.

About the lesson

Assess their level and playing ability and structure lesson plan to improve their skills.

Ask student what they would like to learn about.

If they haven't done it yet, introduce basics of reading and importance of practicing with metronome.

Mostly beginners ages 14 - 30.

High school kids and older people who wanted to learn how to play drum set.

No matter if you're playing drums for fun or have ambitions to take it further, it's always helpful to learn and know more about your instrument and music. Having the ability to read and write music will make practicing easier and more fun and should you ever turn pro, will increase your chances to find work.
