About Jessy

Being in the customer service field, I have learned not only to engage with people but also to maintain a substantial interest while being listened to. It has also taught me to have higher emotional intelligence. Therefore, I recognize emotions, feelings, and thoughts. I show empathy, and I can relate to almost everything, which helps me connect with my audience at all times. I have always been told that I have a very calm & pleasant voice; some even suggest I get into singing (not my forte). I would love to be able to help you in whichever way I can. I do believe my qualities, not only professionally, but personally will exceed your expectations.

Growing up, I always knew I was passionate about helping people. I am patient and have a friendly calm attitude, so I have learned to use this to listen and provide great communication skills. I love using my creativity when demonstrating what I am teaching. I would love nothing more than to share my knowledge with you by tutoring you. I will make sure to do so, to the best of my ability.

Working as an after school leader for an elementary school.

I have several years of experience as an After School Leader for an elementary school. I helped students with their homework primarily from ages 5-10.

About the lesson

Prior to scheduling sessions, I'd like to meet the student and then customize some sort of plan/goal to develop a plan of action to achieve the desired results.

Being a teacher requires a lot of patience. Not many people have the ability to be patient, calm, and professional all at the same time. Because of my experiences, I have learned to do this and so much more. I do treat you/people the way that I would want to be treated and that is with the utmost respect.

One of the most recent events I have been to that I was so amused by was a classical music event. It was very beautiful to witness musicians connecting with the audience by using their instruments. Some people cried while others smiled. Music brings out so many different emotions and feelings for each and every one of us. Overall it was such a happy, peaceful experience that I believe brings people together.
