About Hope
I really, truly, love English, reading, and writing (especially creatively)- my best friend and I have been getting together to write for as long as we've been friends. Thoughtfully reading and critiquing literature is one of my favorite things, but I understand it's not everyone's bag-- honestly, anything I can do to make the whole literary process a little more enjoyable or approachable (or even, like, tolerable) is good with me.
All throughout school, I was super invested in the learning process, especially what I thought I was missing out on at my particular school. And when I became involved with childcare immediately after graduating highschool, I realized I had a real desire to teach people, especially anybody who had struggled with boredom, feeling underserved, or just general dislike of school.
I'm an English major with a concentration in creative writing, and several years of nannying experience (tutoring is sort of a collision of the two!)
I'm also an older sister of three, all of whom have needed lots of editing/writing/general homework help throughout the years.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Learning style: I need to see things on paper and then write them down again before I can really remember them (I'm not a visual learner). Every person is, obviously, different.
Also, I personally prefer for there to be a non-digital element to learning. I like to use online quizzes/games/whatever to get things started, but my mind only really sticks to stuff thats hard-copy. If that's the case for you, make sure online-learning can be worked into a format that works for you.
