He is a good teacher and very patient with me. I took a break from clarinet lessons when I moved to India, and when I came back, I again started my lessons with Sean since he teaches well. I enjoy my music classes with him and I learnt a lot this year from him.

Sean is extremely talented musically, but also very empathetic and good at connecting with students. He speaks about music in a way that engages students without ruining the joy of playing. He has done an excellent job with our 9 year old daughter, but I would recommend him to students of all ages.

Sean is great at finding ways to support my particular interests and at same time making sure I'm getting a solid foundation under all the exploration! He doesn't just teach you where the notes are on your instrument, but works on tone, expression through articulation and dynamics, and just the right amount of music theory underlying what your playing. And he's fun!
