About Erin

Learn french with a real french person!

I will teach you french the way I was taught in school as a kid, as well as tell you about french culture. You will also learn about regional culture that you don't usually hear about (niche!!!).

I was born and raised in France, and I love to share my culture with people who are eager to learn and love France as much as I do. I also love teaching, passing on my knowledge is very rewarding to me.

My friends kept asking me for help to learn french, and I decided I might as well widen my efforts and start teaching to everyone that contacts me.

I have tutored a lot of my friends in the past, and they all appreciated my help to learn the language.

About the lesson

During the first lesson we will discuss about your expectations, how many lessons you need and I will establish an outline with you.

I worked with a variety of students. Age, ethnicity, gender and other identities aren't really relevant to learn french, anyone can do it!

I would tell the student to look for a french native teacher, because even if the american french teacher speaks perfect french, they don't know the culture as well as french people do!

I recently moved from France to New York State and I've been really liking my new country!!

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
They need to think about why they want to learn french, if their goal is to speak french for business or as a hobby, if they eventually want to move to France, or if they just want to impress a date! ;)
