About Huai-An(Johnny)
I am a native Chinese Mandarin and Chinese Taiwanese speaker, reader and writer. I was born, raised and educated in Taiwan, have lived in US for 2.5 years. I graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a Master’s degree. I am working at a company that requires me to use both English and Mandarin to communicate with colleagues from U.S. and China daily.
First started teaching Mandarin at the International Student Language Center in my college, where I received systematic training and gained lots of experience. I have been tutoring students from kids to adults in Mandarin for 7 years and really enjoy watching students improving their skills. I always try to know my students, develop the best way to help them improve, set practical goals, engage the students during lessons. I will try my best to help you manage this beautiful language if you are willing to spend time taking lessons with me and doing homework after lessons. Also, my schedule is pretty flexible, can be adjusted any time.
Teaching is my true passion and I love watching students improving themselves, never failing to give me a sense of achievement. Also, I would like to pass my own experience of learning Mandarin to people who are looking for help.
