Classically trained on the piano, brass wind instruments and the guitar.

Sudied drum and dance with the Dagara Music Center in Medie, Accra, Ghana.

Work with individuals on the spectrum and TBI's

Self taught on an array of stringed instruments including but not limited to: Banjo, ukulele, electric bass, dulcimer and guitar.

Capable of learning most classical strings except for the violin, willing to learn/train on many instruments I can already play but do not have a formative practice with. (This is on a case per case basis, please feel free to ask.

If I can play with it, I can learn it. Let's see what we can do.

About the lesson

Tuning and fundamentals along with the first song are the initial focus for each new student.

My teaching method is based on learning music that the student already enjoys.

We will do check in session every six weeks to ensure that instructor and students are focusing on the desired outcomes

I have taught a wide range of students from 8 to 68. Almost anyone can learn how to play songs they love

Ask them what kind of music they like to sing to when nobody is around

Ask them what got them in to playing music

Ask them what keeps them playing music now

It's always fun showing friends how to play a song quickly on an instrument, often in an unexpected setting
