Cathy is teaching my daughter at The For Those About To Rock Academy and through private lessons. She is enthusiastic about her students and loves to see them grow as musicians. My daughter went from never even touching a piano to playing many other songs in just a short time. She has performed in front of live audiences and is growing a real love for music and performing thanks to Cathy. Everyone should go to her for lessons!!

My son decided to play the trumpet for 4th grade band. Cathy started private lessons with him before band started at school. My son has autism and his band instructor was skeptical of his ability to fully participate. He struggled in music class and never fully paid attention. Cathy started coming weekly and she was incredibly patient with him, even with his occasional tantrums. She never got frustrated with him and always tried her best to challenge him and keep him interested. My son learned so much from her ahead of time that by the time band started he excelled. His band teacher called and said he was always on task, hit every note perfectly and she even used him to help others who were struggling. His behavior crossed over into music class and he is doing amazing. I attribute all of this to Cathy. She is so talented and makes playing the trumpet fun. I can't recommend her enough. If you or your child want to learn a new instrument, Cathy is a perfect instructor. She's so flexible and easy going. I am so glad we started using her.
