About Bronsen

I'm a musician working in the industry every day. I've been teaching since I was 17 while I was on tour, in school, and all around the country. Now I teach out of my home studio!

I started teaching at 16 when I was trying to make extra income while performing. Since then I have done it at all levels and on multiple instruments, at various schools, and of course at home consistentlty.

Bachelors: Jazz Studies, Shenandoah Conservatory (2018)

Full time touring musician, producer and writer.

About the lesson

It's best to start off with a conversation, what are you looking for, what do you want, where are you trying to go? I schedule a free half hour for each new student, we talk, get to know each other, and maybe learn something. After that, the student decides if they would like to move forward.

All ages and skill levels! The youngest I have taught is 4. The lowest I am comfortable teaching, especially remotely, is 8.

Find somebody you can be honest with. Growth is all about honesty. Music is just a metaphor for life. All skills require patience, persistence, and an understanding of yourself. In order to reach your goals, you have to find someone that you can be bad around. You should feel comfortable making mistakes, because that means you're learning. A good teacher will turn those mistakes into moments where you truly progress.

I recently began working at Atlantic studios to write for a big artist! Small dreams come true sometimes.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Can you play this?

How does (insert your favorite artist here) sound like that?
