Having grown up with two teaching parents and a teaching sister, I think it was pretty clear what I was going to be when I grew up. After touring all over the world, having songs on TV and radio and being signed both as an artist and a songwriter, I have learned some amazing things and I love passing that knowledge on through teaching. Being able to share the joy music has continued to bring me is an awesome feeling.

As my student, you will learn how to play and sing your favorite tunes, write songs, learn songs by ear, music theory and everything in between. You will also learn from my mistakes (like how to keep playing after breaking your foot on tour) and get real-life tips and tricks to help you reach your goals, no matter how big or small. I got you! I specialize in pop/rock but all genres are welcome.

Signed to BMG Production music, have had several songs on Bravo, Telemundo and TV in Germany and Russia. My single “Better With You” received airplay on national radio in Sweden.

I have toured all over the US with several different bands and played Warped Tour, Kiss Kruise, Kid Rock Cruise, Monsters of Rock Cruise, Hard, Rock Hell Festival (UK), Sweden Rock Festival, army bases in the Middle East and Japan and more. I currently play bass and sing for Bay Ledges.

Seeing individuals grow in all areas of music, and that's why I offer a variety of exciting and educational lesson plans.

- Guitar 101: (acoustic or electric) We will work on your favorite songs, chords, melody, ear training, technique, scales, theory and more. I will also provide instruction on playing guitar and singing simultaneously.

- Singing 101: We will cover the basics you need to sing with proper technique. We will also tackle breath support, upper, middle and lower register, vocal stamina, scales and we will learn your favorite songs. I will provide instruction on singing harmonies, tackling extreme vocals, and how to play guitar and sing simultaneously. We will also cover artist development for students who are interested.

- Songwriting: We will cover how to structure a song and how melody and chords work together. We will also cover how to write killer lyrics! I am signed myself as a songwriter with BMG and will give you my best tips and tricks (#1: do it every day). We will analyze a few of your favorite tunes and figure out how to recreate those elements and put your own flavor on it. We will also cover artist development for students who are interested

As I mentioned in my introduction, I grew up with 2 teaching parents and a teaching sister, so I think it was pretty clear from the beginning :-) It started out as something I did for fun on the side in 2014, but as my clientel grew I started teaching full time.

About the lesson

In lesson #1, we get to know each other! I want to learn about your goals so I can make sure you get the most out of your lessons. Do you want to learn how to play your favorite songs, or learn scales and music theory? Maybe a little bit of everything? From there, I can tailor your lesson plan to fit your needs over the amount of time we set together.

I have worked with everyone from hobbyists to professionals and from aspiring musicians to rockstars and Youtubers. I recommend 7yrs and up, but exceptions are welcome.
