About Mark

I am an avid history lover and have studied it extensively throughout high school and college courses — but beyond that, I continued my studies outside of the educational setting, as well. I find it refreshing to share my knowledge with anyone who is willing to listen and learn, as history is one of our most important tools in understanding how we as a society have gotten to where we are today.

I enjoy sharing my experience in the subject of history because it usually seems to be one of the least favorite subjects of students I have come across in the past. Helping anyone grow their knowledge of the subject brings me great joy, and I take the success of those learning from me as an achievement I hold very highly in myself.

I have taken as many history courses at college as I possibly could, being a history major as well. Beyond that I am always trying to learn outside of the classroom, whether it be reading historical articles or watching documentaries in my spare time, as I find it thrilling to understand the path we have taken to arrive where we are today.

About the lesson

I like to understand any student who comes to me on a personal basis, that way I can relay any educational knowledge on history to them in a way they can easily understand and process. It's not an easy subject and may not be used in future endeavors outside of school, but for those struggling or looking to improve in the subject it brings me joy to divulge my experience with history to help them in any way I can.
