About Ian
I am a certified teacher with my M.Ed in Curriculum and Insturction and my B.A. in History. I have been working in the field of education for over 12 years and have a deep passion for enabling students to pursue excellence.
I have lived in Wyoming my whole life and have been working in Jackson, WY for 12 years in the field of education.
I didn't always know I wanted to teach, at first seeking out work in outdoor recreation venues because I loved seeing students push themselves past their comfort zone and press on to achieve their greatest success and uncover their deeper excellence. It wasn't until I began substitute teaching to pay the bills that I understood that teaching was the most effective way to be a part of this process.
I am currently employed as a teacher in Teton County School District #1 where I enjoy forming beneficial relationships with my students. I have a well-known talent for making lemonade out of "lemons" and doing a lot with a little. I look forward to using these skillsets to aid in you (or your student's) educational process.
