Experienced tutor in Horseback riding in Jessup, Sarah offers private lessons tailored to your needs.

Sarah & Spirit Riders are truly fantastic. Sarah is quite the equestrian woman, and she cares so much about her animals and her students. Sarah is definitely safety first. She will not put you on any horse she doesn’t feel you are ready for. And always a very positive outlook & attitude. If you are doing something right she lets you know. And any corrections are also in a positive constructive manner. Spirit Riders also wants you to know horse & all about them. Many places already have the horses tied up in the paddock with saddle & reigns on them, and a mounting block to climb up. Spirit Riders you learn to go to the pasture with the halter, bring them to the paddock, brush them down, pick the hooves, put on the saddle & reigns. If you want to learn western or English Sarah can teach you. As you learn & progress they will add more to the lessons to advance you. If you have a particular interest Sarah will work with you on it until you feel completely confident. And of course trail rides are always fun!
I highly recommend Spirit Riders. Great people and a wonderful positive experience, wether your a beginner or have some experience they are great to work with!

They're extremely knowledgeable when it comes to horses. Whether it's about different riding styles, different types of horses, or learning how to care for the horse, they can teach you everything you need to know. I have watched Spirit Riders work with my daughter over the years and I truly believe it is because of them, that she has become such a great rider, and also has a deep love and respect for horses. It has also helped build her self-confidence. They work great with people of all ages, they are friendly, patient and overall, just amazing people to take lessons from.

They are so laid back non judgmental and you learn a lot and at your own pace! So friendly and professional!

Sarah is an amazing rider, teacher and trainer she is very encouraging and won't let you give up your dreams of riding. She is very helpful and knowledgeable about horses and is great with kids and adults.
