My methods on teaching are based on the students goals and capabilities
My teaching methods come from multiple different trainers and depends on the level of horse and rider. Both as a pair and individually.
Client centered, student led, hands on. Students learn about the horse - health care, feed, stable management, bareback, dressage, small jumps, trail riding. Opportunity to show, lease or purchase a horse. Learning includes grooming, horse psychology, groundwork exercises, riding, assigned readings, and stable management. Private lessons only. No indoor arena.
My teaching methods are purely based on three main factors. Trust, Comfortability, and Education. To do anything with horses you must have trust. This is an animal more that twice your size and has the ability to do incredible but awful things if it is let. You must trust each other.
I believe in making the course material understandable while showing students the importance of what they are learning, truly learning the why behind each lesson.
I believe that training should benefit horse and trainer/rider both mentally and physically. I have a special interest in groundwork, and horse and rider biomechanics. Over the past 4 years I have found the Straightness Training methodology to be extremely beneficial for all types of horses and riders/trainers.
My teaching method varies to the students capabiltys and needs. Every student learns a diffrent way. I like to make sure I work on one or two things per lesson as this way it's less confusing and easier to take it whether keeping it simple or going into detail.
As with any sport you begin with a warm up, main lesson followed by cool down. You will be given feedback throughout the lesson along with homework to practice before your next lesson. You will have the ability to ask questions and get advice about your horse and your rider fitness which is another key component when learning to ride.
I try to copy my teaching method from my own trainer's method. I learned so much from her, so my goal is to try to do the same for fellow riders. I like to take things slowly, one step at a time, because nothing comes out of rushing things. Horse AND rider need time to understand things.
I try to provide supportive and well-informed advice. There is a lot to know when starting out and it can be really confusing - everyone has an opinion when it comes to horses! I try to find out what you need and how you learn, and tailor a service to that.

I teach anyone of any level how to ride their horse with easy hands and care. Hoe to tack them up properly and to cool them off after each ride. I base my teaching upon horse care in which is in the best favour of both horse and rider. I approach each topic by each individuals needs
Interested in horses but don’t know where to begin? I can help! My teaching method is to work with each student on an individual and personal level. I can help you get started with horses and learn the basics.
I find that it is very important to get to know each student individually and then base my lessons off there specific needs.. for example if some students are visual learners pictures and diagrams will be shown throughout the session to help explain better, if there is linguistic learners then there will be more words being used in either writing or speech.

My family was part of the organization that became the Quarter Horse Association. I have trained and coached Quarter Horse western and hunt seat, as well as Buckskin and Quarter Horses to national titles. Following a natural horsemanship ethic has always worked best for the riders and horses I have trained. No stress, no pressure personal goal oriented training.
My teaching method is rather straight forward, im very easy in conversation and very confident you will leave beimg a pro.
My teaching methodology lies in understanding exactly how you ride; how to perfect your position, how to bring the horse into an outline etc. before you attempt to do it.
Positive reinforcement for both the horses and people. It’s not fun to be yelled at the entire time and feel as if you are not adequate. I take things as quick as the horse and rider learn.
I adapt to each student, taking into account his level and his objectives. I put a point of honor to put riders and horses in confidence on the bars. I own an excellent mare teacher. It is therefore possible to take classes with me even for riders who do not have their own horse.
- Dressage: help students to better understand the horse and teach the basics to train it properly. - Training of young horses: in the case of untamed horses, taming them in the appropriate manner, and if already tamed, make them progress in more advanced dressage exercises or jumping.
