I was riding and showing for 20 years. My instructor asked if I could help with some Autistic students I fell in love with teaching. Then I volunteered at a NARAH center for a year. The next year I was hired staff.
I have participated in workshops and started hours with
North American Riding for the Handicapped Association, Inc. (NARHA)

Typically I will get the horse from the pasture first few times. We will go over the basics of getting on and off, walk, trot, turning, backing, and standing.
I have worked with all kinds of students from the age of 2-27. All 4 of my personal children have learned as well.
