About Milica
My name is Milica and studying French has been my passion since I was three years old. Now,I'm a French tutor from Serbia who is going online. My carrier as a tutor is about 3 years long. Here I'm hoping to help all the people interested in learning a new language. My primary focus is to help you learn in a fun way and to help you make learning fun. Whit me you will be learning new vocabulary and grammar that will improve the way you use the French language. I'm fluent in English and I do have experience in teaching in this language so you don't have to worry if we will be able to communicate in another language. I hope that you will choose me as your touter and that we will have great times together.
I enjoy the satisfaction on my student's faces when they do something right or when they get a good grade in school. I enjoy the helping process and I hope to help a lot of other people learn and be satisfied whit their studies.
I started teaching when I was 16 years old. I started whit helping my friends with homework or whit exam prep. They started recommending me to other people and now I have a couple of people hoe are my regular students.
I have a DELF B2 certificate and now I'm studying to get a DALF C1 certificate. As I previously said my tutoring career started when I was 16 years old. I had students who when to middle school, at the time, and now they are also studying to get their certificate in French. Overall I started tutoring because I liked it. I liked the feeling when someone gets something because I explained it, I liked when my students get good grades in school because I helped them. Also, I have been a babysitter to two kids, and whit them I had to tutor them in basic math, reading, and writing, and that's how I got my first experience whit teaching.

When it comes to new students, I like to have the first class as an introduction class. In the first part of the class, we talk in English and they get to meet me and I get to meet them. This is the part of the class where I find out the goals of my students, are they doing this for school or for them selfs and we come up whit a plan of classes. In the second part of the class, we talk a little bit in French, if the student has prior knowledge. If they don't we will learn the basic introductions and then move on from there.
My students are mostly still in middle school or high school, because they are my focus group.
First and foremost figure out what you want, then find a teacher that meets your needs. I do recommend you schedule a meeting to talk about what you want because that's the only way you will know for sure if the tutor is right for you. My introduction meeting is free and my focus group is adolescents in high school.
There are a lot of events in my life and work that have filled me up whit joy, but I would like to hear whit you the story of the first good grade somebody has gotten because of my tutoring. I was still in high school and I had a classmate who had the worst grades in Franch. We weren't friends but one day he approached me and asked me to help him with the class because he was going to fail it. I agreed and we started our sessions after just a couple of courses he passed one of the exams with an A. The teacher accused him of cheating but I stepped in and told them that he knows the lessons. After that we became close and now we are best friends.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What do they focus on?
When they start, what is the level of knowledge of their other students?
Do they have a steady plan or do they adjust the plan to each student?

I have a developed plan for absolute beginners that helps them learn French easily, but I do adjust every plan to students because not one student is the same, and not one of my students had the same learning dynamic. in that sense, for absolute beginners, I do have a plan and program of studies but that plan is always adjusted to the student itself. As for those who have prior knowledge, we do a small test together, and depending on what their needs are I make a personalized program. I also help whit my student's schoolwork.
