I start with formal logic, because that way of thinking is so foreign so most new students and is a great foundation for the LSAT mindset.
My approach is designed for students who are aiming to score in the 80th percentile or higher. Mine is not a "shotcuts, tips and tricks" approach. It's all about actually gaining a critical understanding of the materials.
Don't worry about what most people do - everybody is different, so do what works for you! Ask potential tutors if they'll do an introductory call with you, and trust your instincts re: whom you connect with best.
