About Robyn

I still get excited after 25 years of teaching women how to glow! When you really listen to someone, you learn how to help them.

I have worked with women of all ages from fashion shows to weddings to nursing homes. It's my heart and passion to help every woman look and feel incredible. Every woman has a unique light. I have taught makeup lessons for every day, special occasions and even taught bridal makeup to other makeup artists. Makeup doesn't have to be complicated but a natural extension of who you are.

Teaching came naturally to me because I started my career in high school, styling clients. Teaching someone how to dress stylishly, confidently, isn't a complete picture without a little glamour in their makeup. It's the total look.

I have a BS in Fashion Merchandising, learned makeup techniques from top makeup artists, worked for Bobbi Brown as a makeup artist. I used to run a custom blend makeup store where I made an array of products from scratch to perfectly compliment the clients' skin tone and preferences. I have an in depth knowledge about color theory.

About the lesson

I like to address skin care first because it effects how makeup looks and lasts. Then I like to ask questions to get to know the student and their goals.

Students of all ages... women aren't born knowing how to apply makeup, and not all women learn at an early age. So some of my students are young starting out and some want to start over with a fresh look as they age.

Have fun, makeup is an expression of who we are and don't feel hindered to try new things at any age
