About Alexander
DragonGateD.C. offers classes in the traditional Chinese internal kung fu arts of Tai Chi Chuan, Bagua Zhang, Xingyi Chuan and other styles. Classes take place in a beautiful outdoor training pavillion. All instruction is given by Sifu Alexander King, 19th generation Wudang Longmen disciple, in the traditional framework of direct teacher to student transmission. The focus here is on sincere practice of the arts, not commercial gain.
Sifu Alexander King, MS is a 19th generation disciple of the Wudang Longmen branch of Taoist Kung Fu arts. He has trained for 20 years with Grandmaster Liu Xiaoling and has taught in the DC area for over 15 years. He has won multiple gold medals in Tai Chi Chuan, Tai Chi Push Hands, Xingyi Chuan and Bagua Zhang at several International Kung Fu Competitions throughout the United States.
