About Parker
Hi!
My name is Parker and I am a Masters in Public Policy with a double bachelors in mathematics and philosophy from UVA. I have experience with both one-on-one and classroom setting teaching from working at tutoring centers such as Kumon to teaching abroad in Spain to virtual math tutoring during the COVID-19 pandemic. My structure for tutoring is based on each individuals needs, whether it be homework help or more exploratory learning. I firmly believe that no one is “bad” at math, just that some students have missing pieces in the building blocks of math and have to work harder for the concepts to stick.
