About Sarah
I am a recent graduate of Colorado College. I have 6 years of experience teaching children (kindergarten to 9th grade) mathematics. I tutor and can teach extended beyond the classroom.
I make learning math exciting and thoughtful. I know it is often hard for children to be curious about math because it can be challenging to conceptualize, so I make math relevant and approachable to them.
It makes me happy to see children become curious and their minds wander into thought. I love seeing how they solve problems and overcome their confusion. I believe children can always find something interesting if they find a way to personalize it, and when they do, it is wonderful to see how they engage with the material.
