About Brian
As a forensic scientist for over 20 years and passionate educator, I have experience teaching and tutoring middle and high school students in subjects such as Algebra, Geometry, Chemistry, Physics, and Earth Science. I also have a strong appreciation for the application of these to real world situation.
My teaching philosophy centers on identifying students' strengths and weaknesses, allowing me to tailor my approach to each individual's needs. I believe in creating a supportive environment where students can confidently explore complex concepts, particularly in math areas, which serves as a foundation for understanding advanced topics in science.
I am motivated by the opportunity to connect with students and help them grasp challenging material through real-world applications, making learning both relevant and engaging.
In my spare time, I enjoy woodworking, traveling with my family, and will tinker with just about anything.
