About Shamari
At Tutoring Minds I believe that every child is intelligent, and has the ability to succeed. It's not the student who's confused, it's the math that's confusing. Every student has the ability to learn and strengthen their weaknesses.
I helped a few college students at my university how to do their math assignments, and helped them fix their mistakes. I was told by numerous professors and peers that I should look into teaching/tutoring.
I am a Mechanical Aerospace Engineering at a D1 University (Emphasis on Aerospace aka rocket scientist). I have taken numerous math courses & passed all with a B or better, and I have gotten many job offers from my university to tutor.

I mask the student a series of questions in order to determine where their mind is, and why they struggle. I then go over a few problems with them to see if they miss simple mistakes, or if they don't get the concepts at all.
I have worked with both college students and high school students. I also have some experience with middle school aged children.
