About Tyler

Hello! My name is Tyler Florio - a Thoms Jefferson University alumni with a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, and currently a Senior Scientist at Merck. As a passionate scientist, I've always wanted to share knowledge and help younger generations learn about science and mathematics.

Throughout my academic and professional development, I have had excellent mentors and tutors who provided me with the tools and knowledge to succeed. Their willingness to listen and to translate complex theories into readily understandable concepts empowered me to learn and develop. These key qualities are the fundamental basis for how I believe in teaching and mentoring.

My expertise lies primarily in the sciences, mathematics, and test preparation, including the ACT, SAT, and GRE. I have tangible tutoring and teaching experience, including as a Teaching Assistant while in graduate school.
