About Brooke
I am a college student majoring in and passionate about mathematics. I have experience in tutoring my peers, as well as being a girlscout camp leader and babysitting.
I started tutoring at my college, and found that I loved helping others understand math! It’s an amazing skill to have, and seeing someone understand something that they’ve been struggling with id always rewarding.
I have taken all math elementary, middle school, and high school math classes. I have also taken the entire calculus series. I have been tutoring for almost two years at my college, and volunteer tutor any of my friends who need it.

I ask them what they feel they are struggling with, and we start there. Normally, that’s when I can gauge what gaps are in their knowledge of the subject. Do we need to review some more basic topics? Do they just need some more confident in there abilities? I also remind them that math is like a sport: the more you practice, the better you become. I believe anyone can be good at math, and that it’s not an “inherent skill.”

Details
For math that isn’t college level (elementary math up to algebra 2), I charge 30$ and hour. For college level math (precalculus up to calculus 3), I charge 35$ an hour.
