About Kelsi

Mission: I’m aiming to be the best educator I can be by responding to student’s learning needs, giving students clear and big visions to achieve success at a high level, and motivating students by beneficial interdependence. Not only would I want to suggest what study methods to do but also how to study the best way based on the individual. As we may agree with Allan Mogenson, “Work smarter not harder!” As an alternate perspective, do not bother with what seems hard once you work smarter, because every master was once a beginner.

I enjoy knowing my instruction can help develop a student's understanding about a subject. I encourage anyone to be creative about a subject you obtain interest in, because that creativity may be a trigger for dream job one may want to obtain or even change the way the world works in a better manner.

I grew up with a family of educators who’ve shared their experience as principals, college professors and grade school teachers. I have worked and/or volunteered as an educator in the classroom for over 16 years.

Experience: I currently substitute teach and have taught all subjects from grades K-8th and math [math subjects listed for findings through Tutor.com] from grades K-12th. I have also tutored at a tutoring center that tutors all subjects & grades from Pre-school to 12th grade.

About the lesson

When working with a new student I would like to address their time commitment to study outside of the tutoring sessions is important.

I have worked one on one with students who have special needs. I have worked with students from grades Pre-school to 12th grade.

$15 (USD) for a lesson that is 1 hour and 15 minutes or less.

$23 (USD) for a lesson that is 1 hour and 16 minutes to 1 hour and 45 minutes.

$30 (USD) for a lesson that is 1hour and 46 minutes to 2 hours and 15 minutes.

I do not offer lesson services that are over 2 hours and 15 minutes. No exceptions.
