About Kristi
I have taught high school math for 8 years. Subjects include: Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Trignometry. I also taught English online for 5 years. I understand what is needed to be successful in their high school math class.
I am a certified math teacher with a Master's degree in Education focusing on teaching mathematics to a broad spectrum of students.
If a student struggles with a concept, I can help explain and practice the concept in a way that makes it easy. If a student needs more challenges, I can help move the student forward at a faster pace and challenge them to think beyond the simple process and solution.
My passion is teaching math and helping students feel comfortable with math.
I enjoy getting everyone to learn math. Each person learns a different way and it's fun to find out what works for that person.
