About Sydney

My name is Sydney and I am a civil engineering major from the University of Texas at Austin. I have been tutoring students since I was in high school. I mostly teach math and some other elementary, middle, and high school subjects. Please feel reach to reach out to me at any time, I will get back to you ASAP!

Math especially can be scary to tackle, I really love when I help a student feel confident doing their school work.

I started tutoring in high school and I have continued throuhgout college. The first time I ever tutored, my friend was very close to failing high school algebra. After going through the test review for a couple hours, he ended up getting a B on the test!

I am a civil engineering major at the University of Texas at Austin.

About the lesson

Typically, I start by going over what will be covered in the lesson. Then, I ask what the students feels confident with and what they do not. We go through every topic, one-by-one, and I ask the student to solve example problems on their own. Lastly, we go over what was answered incorrectly, and do some more example problems in that area.

I have worked with elementary, middle, and high school students.
